Earlier this year, Rich the Kid made his full-length debut with The World Is Yours. The album features the chart-climbing singles “Plug Walk” (recently certified triple-platinum) and “New Freezer” ft. Kendrick Lamar (now double-platinum). Released in September 2017, “New Freezer” sparked a long-running viral dance competition known as the “New Freezer Challenge.”
After arriving in March, The World Is Yours debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. In the first week of its release, the now-gold-certified album amassed nearly 60K in consumption units, in addition to earning 74.3 million streams. Along with Kendrick Lamar, The World Is Yours features appearances by artists like Khalid, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, and Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee.
