JUICE WRLD’S “ALL GIRLS ARE THE SAME” #1 ON SPOTIFY’S U.S. VIRAL CHART,
THE FIRST TIME A SONG HAS BEEN #1 ON THE CHART TWICE
Chicago rapper Juice WRLD’s viral single, “All Girls Are The Same” has had an extraordinary first week on the digital service providers. The song landed in Spotify’s New Music Friday (2.5 million followers) the day of its release (4/13), and as of yesterday, hit the #1 spot on the platforms’ U.S. Viral Chart and #2 on their Global Viral Chart. This is the first time a song has gone #1 on the Viral Chart twice; the bootleg version of the song also hit the #1 spot. Elsewhere on Spotify, the song has accumulated 2.5 million plays over the past week and places at #6 out of 100 in the Most Necessary playlist (1.6 million followers,) #1 in Clout Culture (296k followers,) and is featured in Anti Pop (207k followers.)
Prior to its release onto the DSPs last week, “All Girls Are The Same” racked up over 20 million Soundcloud plays and 7 million views on the Cole Bennett directed video.
