Hardy Caprio’s incredible rise continues with the release of ‘NAIJ’, the second instalment of Hardy Season.

‘Naij’ follows the release of the first instalment of Hardy Season, ‘Rapper’, which scored a top 40 in the Official UK singles charts for three consecutive weeks and has sold over 100,000 units after accumulating over 8 million Spotify plays, over 6 million video views, and being added to radio playlists across the board (including BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1Xtra, Capital Xtra and Kiss Fresh).

Produced by Ozzie Beats and CallMeTheKid, ‘Naij’ is the second instalment of Hardy Season, which will see the rising emcee document his life through music, releasing a new track with accompanying music video episodically over the next few weeks.

The accompanying music video for Naij is directed by WoWa and shot in South London. The next in line to fly the flag for Croydon, (from where Stormzy, Section Boys and Krept & Konan also hail), Hardy Caprio has accumulated over half a million single sales since the release of Unsigned (ft. One Acen) and has been earmarked by music critics as the 'next to blow' after gate-crashing and setting his own tone in the UK Grime, Rap and Garage scene.

The 21-year-old first started making noise with his SBTV Warm-Up session, where he freestyled over Tinie Tempah's Wifey Riddim. The back-to-back release of Caprio's Hardy Season EP and his Hollywood EP in 2017 further cemented Hardy’s substantial fan base, ahead of single Unsigned (ft. One Acen) which is now certified silver, (after passing the 300,000 sales mark, racking up more than 30 million streams, being playlisted by BBC Radio 1 and receiving heavy rotation on Capital 1Xtra). Tracks Super Soaker and C’Mon followed prior to Hardy performing at Spotify UK's critically acclaimed inaugural live event, Who We Be Live at London’s Alexandra Palace.

After being tipped as an artist to watch for 2018 by BBC 1Xtra, The Independent, Music Week, The Sun, Nation of Billions and Clash magazine (among others), Hardy kick-started the year with his first headline UK tour. Calling at Manchester Academy, O2 Academy Birmingham and London’s O2 Academy Islington, the sold out tour provided a taster of what’s to come from Hardy’s upcoming festival appearances at Wireless, We Are, Bass Jam and Bristol’s Love Saves the Day this summer.

Naij is released via Virgin EMI today. ‘Hardy Season’ is upon us.
