I'm a rapper from North London. A visionary in pursuit of achieving the goals I've set myself within the music industry.
What made you decide to become a rapper?
I decided to become a rapper during university upon realization that I had the ability to write rap songs with my own sound/flow.
How did the single Figo come together?
Figo came together after getting into the studio with Patrick Osei. It was a collective effort as he provided me with the instrumental through his network and I worked on it.
What do you think surprises listeners the most about you?
I believe, what surprises listeners about me is, how strong my first single was along with my story which keeps listeners intrigued as I have a story unmatched by the current artists in UK urban scene.
What’s the first rap song you ever heard? Describe the moment.
The first rap song I've heard was probably 'In Da Club' by 50 Cent. I don't have much memory of the moment but I'd imagine it was a life changing one since I'm here today doing rap music of my own.
What can we expect from Tayfun?

Tayfun, released his debut single ‘Figo’ a few months ago. His track consists of a myriad of different influences and the anthemic single infuses a heavy atmospheric Hip Hop instrumental with the unique twist of his Turkish heritage. The flavor of his culture is shown through the sounds of the saz guitar, which is played by Tayfun himself.
