‘Book of Shadows’ Brings Seasonal Chills
Bok Nero has teamed up with The Army of the 12 Monkeys on a horror themed Hip-Hop tape ‘Book of Shadows,’ exploring the dark tones the 12 Monkeys have become known for.
The Army of the 12 Monkeys is a Hip-Hop beat collective headed by Philly’s Dubstep Overlord, Architekt. It features roughly 12 members all contributing to one final sound, highly sought after in the Hip-Hop community. Founded in 2015, the group’s first efforts were immediately picked up on by the likes of Le’Veon Bell (Professional NFL star) and other talented artists looking for a slightly edgier sound in their repertoire. One of these artists were Bok Nero, a rapper who is no stranger to the world of EDM production and a veteran to the game. Having performed with artists such as Kill the Noize, Tech N9ne, and Zed’s Dead, Nero is no slouch.
Recently, Bok Nero caught the attention of both EDM mogul, Steve Aoki and legendary beatmaker, Jahlil Beats, which led to his most recent album ‘Lorde of Legions’ which was released on Dim Mak. Nero has quickly become a major player in both the Hip-Hop and and EDM scenes.
