Coco ft Protoje - "Ova Here" Video | @TheCocoUK

Coco links up with big, bad and heavy Jamaicanreggae artist Protoje for serious new track ‘Ova Here’; the 2nd release on Toddla T’s ‘Steeze’ label.

Fuelled with a lurking bassline that is accentuated with snares and a mysterious tinkling key melody, this track shows Coco’s versatility as he spits over a dark beat and shows him playing his position as a flow-master making it a certified tune for London’s forthcoming Notting Hill Carnival this weekend.

Filmed in Kingston, Jamaica, Protoje’s hometown, and produced by Toddla T & The Drum Keys, Coco releases his thoughts on his music journey and the system as he get’s lyrical in a mindful state for the video

Proving to be a big year for Coco, 2016 kicked off with him being named in Mixmag as one of Annie Mac’s artists to watch, he has since gone on to justify over and above as to why he earned the title. The Sheffield native was announced by Huw Stephens to perform at Glastonbury on the BBC Introducing stage and he dropped an almighty Fire in the Booth for BBC DJ Charlie Sloth{see it here}

He has since continued to hit smash some HUGE stages, taking to Ibiza Rocks to support Stormzy and performing at Red Bull’s Manchester Carnival. Most recently he was personally asked to perform at the Royal Albert Hall for Jamie Cullum’s BBC Proms and he there is still more left in store as he hits Bestival and Notting Hill Carnival prior to his recently announced headline show at London O2 Academy2, Islington on September 22nd (www.gigsandtours.com).
