K.FLAY EMBARKS ON NORTH AMERICAN HEADLINE TOUR THIS FALL

K.Flay releases a brand-new EP 'Crush Me' today for digital download and streaming via all participating digital retailers. An alternative artist and producer with hip-hop influences, K.Flay is the first signing to Imagine Dragons’ frontman Dan Reynolds imprint Night Street / Interscope Records.
The four-track Crush Me EP showcases K.Flay’s fearlessly honest songwriting and includes her new single “Blood In The Cut.”
“The song is about the desire to inundate yourself with pain or angst
or noise or joy, or really any experience, in order to have ownership of
the feeling,” says K.Flay. “Though it emerged from a dark place, the
song quickly morphed into a celebratory thing, which was surprising and
cool for me. It kind of felt like I was enacting the song as I wrote
it.”

Following international festival performances at Reading and Leeds, Bestival, amongst others, K.Flay returns stateside this fall for a North American headline tour in support of Crush Me. The tour kicks off on October 24th
in San Diego and will hit major cities including Los Angeles, New York,

K.Flay, born Kristine Flaherty, has released four mix tapes and three EPs, followed by her 2014 debut album Life As A Dog. “Blood In The Cut” is her first single since releasing “FML” in March. “FML” received positive notices from FADER, Nylon, Complex, and Stereogum, among others.
