Cordell hails from Harrisburg, PA where Boosie, Webbie and Trill Fam music made a major impact. In Harrisburg a DJ could run a whole party with nothing but Trill Fam on the set, We've seen it done. Boosie and Webbie's music is a part of what Harrisburg is...So Cordell wanted to pay homage to that.
Marty Mclaren and Triz helped Cordell accomplish this vision by incorporating the cowbell and other elements of Louisiana's "Bounce" music. From No Limit, to early Cash Money shit to Trill Fam, it was something about Louisiana niggas and their music that resonated with us way up here in the HBG area. Hard to explain, you just kinda gotta be here and feel it.
