The majority of Kris J's music is never written down. His songs start out organically as freestyles. Some end up being revised, however some stay organic from start to finish like his second #membersonlymonday release, "The Flow."
Showing off his lyrical abilities and energetic flow, Kris goes off the top with this studio freestyle on a TrackBurnaz and DJ MoneyGreen collaborative production. With his next album The A.R.T. Kris J is a 25-year-old Columbus, Georgia native, but has called Atlanta home for the past two years. His love for hip hop started at thirteen as he began learning about bars and schemes. After graduating from Bethune-Cookman University in 2013, where he was also a track star, he made the move to Atlanta. Since moving to Atlanta, Kris has performed on stages across Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Illinois, Ohio and many others continuing to travel and build his following.
He recently dropped two singles, Dope Lady and Live From The Westside from his forthcoming album, The A.R.T. Project. The A.R.T. Project, which features production from 808 Mafia ,Natural Disaster and Avery McRae is scheduled to be released in January.
