SOHO KINGS is a crossover Hip-Hop & Pop duo made up of rapper/DJ Celsius911 and producer/singer Bryce Alvord from Brooklyn, NY. Their music is a fresh combination of New York rap and universal pop melodies, using the heavy synths and pounding sonics of EDM, as well as the building energy choruses of rock music. All with that Brooklyn edge and swag.
Fresh off their January release of "The Climb", the duo's second full length released as both an album and a mixtape hosted by Hot 97's DJ Absolut, SOHO KINGS is closing out the 4th quarter of 2015 with the “Out My Mind EP”, an official visual for the title track, and a Release Party & performance at the legendary Mercury Lounge in NYC on 12/29/15. Their music has been praised online by the likes of The Source, DJ Enuff, Funk Flex, Jack Thriller, Hip Hop Since 1987, and they have toured the USA, mostly at Universities, headlining themselves. SOHO KINGS is in a lane of their own and a beast to watch out for in 2016.
The “Out My Mind” EP is SOHO KINGS second release of 2015, following up on “The Climb” hosted by Hot 97’s DJ Absolute. The visual for the title track is a psychadelic, mind bending thriller like the song itself, and the first single “Ice Cream” is a hard hitting, trap/pop banger. It all comes together with that unique Soho Kings sound. The EP also has features by Rahzel Jr. & Black$ Money.
