The “For Real” video — a social commentary on what is happening in our world today — features provocative scenes of DeLon portraying a plastic surgeon completing unnecessary procedures on model Sydney A. Maler and actress Estrella Nouri of 2 Broke Girls, amongst others. Seamlessly connected as chronicles, the visual tells the story behind DeLon’s upcoming EP Awake, which will be released early next year. Awake expands DeLon’s musical style to include his unique blend of electronica and hip-hop. The project will feature songs about overcoming challenges, letting go and being true to yourself. Notably, DeLon tapped into to his background as a producer on five of the seven tracks, making Awake a truly innovative combination of sounds.
