Miss Mahogany Bio:
LaShonda "MissMahogany" Hughes's was born and raised Birmingham, AL. Here she developed her own musical tastes and interests. She began writing poetry at the young age of 8, and began writing songs in middle school.. However, she did not start pursuing music until age 22. After realizing that making music was her main career goal, she began to showcase her talent in various venues across the state of Alabama, as well as making an online presence for herself. Miss Mahogany, points out that she shares a love for r&b music a well as rap, which is how her unique style developed. Some of her influences are Salt n Peppa, Mia X, 2PAC, Aaliyah, Keyshia Cole, Missy Elliott, Pimp C, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Jay Z, and Nicki Minaj just to name a few. Miss Mahogany is rapidly expanding her fan base throughout the States, She hopes to continue her musical journey and have much success on future projects. She is currently working on her debut album "So Official" and her thrid mixtape "Sexy Thuggin #BeatJacker."
