Chef Noriega's Bio:
Chef Noriega (Chef) is the founder of the ClanClan music group; he started out making parody music when all of his friends constantly told him to consider music seriously. Within a week he put out his first tape that sparked his interest into making a career out of music. Chef's music is about being a voice for the suburban culture because he feels that as a musician, there is no category for the artist who did not come from the stereotypical struggle but struggled between being socially accepted in suburbia growing up. His biggest inspirations include Chicago's own Kanye West, and rising stars Tory Lanez, Rockie Fresh and Travis $cott. Recently, Chef released a visual under the indie music blog "Tha Report" for his single "Zan" that was featured in the popular November mix up by Dj Tati and his single "I turn up" was featured on her In Takeover We Trust Mixup. On April 14th, 2015, Chef was featured in an article titled "Local Rapper Does It All" the University of Missouri's student run newspaper. On February 27th, 2015 Chef Headlined his second artist showcase "Ignition." On November 14th, 2014 Chef headlined his independent artist showcase at Muse Como clothing store. In addition to doing shows Chef has also received the support of a few indie music blogs such as Tha Report, Fly Academics, KCOU Local Music, and NeoClef for his singles "Jimmy" and "Trap" produced by Real Chance Beatz which features Lil EZ In 2013, Chef opened for the legendary Bone-thugs & Harmony, Chevy Woods and Berner, but has also headlined shows himself. Currently Chef is prepping to release a sequel to his Illumbia mixtape titled Illumbia 2; he previously dropped a scrapped version of Illumbia 2 on the popular website Hot New Hip Hop!
