#MadeInTheDMV campaign by hosting a free music conference in Washington,
DC featuring MTV's Rob Markman, Revolt TV's Tuma Basa, DJ Quicksilva
(Global Spin Awards DJ of The Year), WPGC 95.5's DJ Heat, Benny T
(Manager of Shy Glizzy), Tray Chaney (HBO's The Wire), producer
Tone P (Wale, J.Cole, Meek Mill), producer Roger Beat (Shy Glizzy, Gucci
Mane, Waka Flocka), Broccoli City, The Grammys DC Chapter, and more.
#MadeInTheDMV is designed to educate and inspire the arts and
entertainment community through storytelling, learning opportunities,
and a concert featuring the area’s top artists. The goal of
#MadeInTheDMV is to cultivate a culture of pride by bringing together
the innovators and influencers of the DC, MD, and VA (DMV) music scene
to share the region's talents.
