About Patty Crash
Born in Keflavik, Iceland, the ethereal singer made her journey across the pond in the early '90s. In America, PATTY CRASH embraced a different, weird persona, and thanks to a chance encounter at age 19 at a Roots concert in Baltimore, she set off on a course that continues to open doors.
In Philadelphia, she met famed Roots manager and producer, the late Richard Nichols, along with coveted engineer/producer MIKE JERZ from Highly Educated Music, one of her strongest allies. The relationship formed like Voltron, finding PATTY CRASH featured on The Roots Grammy-nominated album, How I Got Over, Young Money artist Tyga's song "Diamond Life", Travie McCoy's "Tattoo", and most recently "Never" from The Roots' 2014 And Then You Shoot Your Cousin, just to name a few.
Fall 2014 finds PATTY CRASH excited to release what is her first actual solo release via Highly Educated Music entitled Born To Fall: "The new stuff is a little bit unforgiving; I was at a place where I wanted to give up because I was tired of trying to conform and make it in this industry. This album said whatever the fuck I wanted to say without pressure."
