How do you make something less scary? Put it in a skirt. It's done by animal rescue shelters every day. Put a tutu or a ridiculous bow on a Pit Bull in hopes that suburban families overlook the negative image that the media has pasted the breed with. That's the premise behind this week's offering from Queens MC K Sparks as he goes in on the 'feminization' of the African American male. Satire? Perhaps, but in K Sparks' opinion, those willing to turn in their sack for a skirt and a paycheck are truly merely pawns in white Hollywood's attempt to emasculate the second scariest thing in America.....the black man. As he puts it "What's your price? Are you willing to go against your integrity in return for a pay check, or maintain your convictions in a society that teaches us diginity fails, but ratchetness and ratings prevail."
