Chicago/New York hip hop artist Jennifair's new single "Lauryn Hill" is a full bodied modern take on old school hip hop energy.
The beat, produced by Josh Lamont, is almost instantly infectious. The
climb builds from the time she opens her mouth; running bars like, "No
dealing with devils we God body and still I will body a nia
bone crusher discuss that Lauryn Hill!" in verse one. Appropriately
titled "Lauryn Hill," the song completely fulfills its' promise to "take
it back to "take it back to when we listened for that sh*t you can
feel" as stated in the last verse. Jennifair's approach is easily the
most potent arrangement of hip hop lyrics delivered effortlessly from a
female artist this decade. A new resident of Brooklyn, New York,
Jennifair hit the ground running with this one. "Lauryn Hill" is being
received well in the street in both New York and her hometown Chicago.
Jennifair is indeed the real deal. A video for the high energy banger is
currently in the works. Visit iamjennifair.com to connect.
