RELEASES NEW CAMP JAMES “FIRST AND 15TH” EPISODE – THE HAWAII
EDITION
The Hip-Hop fan favorite and fashion connoisseur shows sneaker
heads his new summer kicks
ATLANTA, GA {July 7, 2014} –
Trinidad James (Think It’s A Game Ent.) unveiled the latest episode of his
popular YouTube series “Camp James
‘First and 15th’” in which he showcases his summer sneaker
collection live and direct from Hawaii.
The Gold Gang leader, who was just recently nominated for “Best Collaboration” with August
Alsina at this year’s BET Awards,
breaks down the designs, materials, and colors of his favorite kicks while
featuring the dopest stores to buy kicks in Hawaii.
“Well with shoes, the things that
make me really intrigued by them are the color ways and color placements. The
materials are probably second, and that comes from me just holding and
inspecting the shoe. Good suede or leathers always get me. Then I usually hoop
in all my kicks to test the comfort,” explains the sneaker head.
Trinidad’s stop in Hawaii not only
showcases his love for kicks but also shows the popular influence the sneaker
culture has around the world. “I would say I had a true love of sneakers at the
age of 16 or like sophomore or junior year of high school. I could afford to
buy my own kicks then. The shoes I report on [in Camp James episodes] are the
shoes I buy with my own money – from the 1st to the 15th.
Also, if an artist or company sends me a gift, I make sure to show them that
love in return,” Trinidad James says.
The Atlanta-native continues to
thrive in both the fashion and music worlds as a successful artist on Think
It’s A Game Entertainment’s roster, along with Rich Home Quan, Jacquees
and Forte Bowie. The label, lead by
