Making his official entry into rap in 2011, Yung Saran {@Yungsaran} is a Boston, MA rhymer whose small fan base has grown mainly thanks to YouTube and social networking. His most successful song is the track “On Me,” a banger with a hard-hitting beat that has been played on Boston’s JAM’N 94.5, New Jersey’s Streetz 106, and is nearing 100,000 views on YouTube without an actual video. With two mixtapes under his belt, Saran plans to continue to increase the buzz around his name with his latest project The Riley Freeman Mixtape 2, the follow-up to his highly-praised, yet heavily slept-on sophomore tape, The Riley Freeman Mixtape.
At 3:00am EST on August 1st, 2013, Saran dropped the 3rd single off his forthcoming The Riley Freeman Mixtape 2. The aptly-titled “3’s (Boston Anthem)” is an ode to the city he reps and loves, and an anthem for those putting on for their hometown.
