Atlanta rapper Darren Waller is keeping the summer heat alive with the release of his second consecutive EP, "On Notice: Bag Talk". Hot on the heels of last month’s well-received "Mind Games: It’s All In Your Head", Waller’s latest project continues to build on his impressive momentum. This four track EP highlights Waller’s lyrical ability and explores a range of themes, from his competitive spirit and moments of introspection to his sources of motivation and unwavering faith.
In "On Notice: Bag Talk", Waller delves into a mix of subjects. The title track reflects his relentless drive, while "Day In The Life" offers a glimpse into his self-reflective side. "On Notice" reveals the forces behind his motivation, and "Summer On Fremont" underscores the strength of his faith. With this release, Waller further establishes himself in the music scene, delivering content that’s both thought-provoking and inspiring.

Waller explains, "As I’m focusing on putting my album together, I definitely didn’t want to let these 4 tracks go to waste. Recording outside in my backyard this spring and summer has helped me tap into all the different characters that make up who I am as an artist. These are some of the first songs I created after changing my studio environment. I combined two of the song titles again and named it "On Notice: Bag Talk" because it’s definitely my most aggressive release to date. But like Kendrick said, "Sometimes you gotta.." :)"
This week, Waller appeared on the Amazon Music original podcast "Bars and Nuggets", where he shared his unexpected journey from the NFL to the music world. He opened up about his struggles with falling out of love with football, battling substance abuse, navigating a short-lived marriage, his Pro Bowl career, and his lifelong passion for music.

The music video for his latest single, "All In Your Head", directed by ARod2Up, is a powerful visual piece inspired by Ray Lewis’ pregame speeches and the "We Believe" Golden State Warriors campaign. The video delivers an uplifting message from Waller: "Get back up! Keep going. The only story that matters is the one you tell yourself".
With "On Notice: Bag Talk", Darren Waller continues to make waves in the music industry, proving that his creative journey is just beginning.
