"Caught Up" highlights FLO's distinctive harmonies and R&B style as they narrate a cautionary tale to a wayward lover, warning him to resist the allure of other women or suffer the consequences. Directed by Ganna Bogdan, the accompanying visual depicts the girls embarking on a road trip to the desert.
Discussing the song, FLO expressed, "It's straightforward: we won't lose ourselves obsessing over a guy. If you get caught up, it's a simple goodbye. We recognize our value, and ‘Caught Up’ serves as a gentle reminder that we demand respect".
This release follows the success of "Walk Like This", which garnered acclaim from Rolling Stone, Uproxx, Vibe, and others. It marks their first release since the surprise fan EP "3 of Us" in 2023 and the Missy Elliott collaboration "Fly Girl", which became their debut UK top 40 single. These achievements come on the heels of their groundbreaking 2022, where they became the first group to win both the BRITs Rising Star Award and the BBC Sound Poll in the same year.
FLO recently delivered two captivating performances at Coachella and is slated to grace the stages of Governors Ball, Lollapalooza, and Reading and Leeds festival later this year.
