Toronto-raised emerging artist Chxrry22 (pronounced Cherry 2-2) releases a breathtaking new single and video, "Worlds Away"
an explosive diary entry with heartfelt introspection. The singer’s
intricate train of thought materializes in sugary sweet vocals and
dazzling, uptempo production. Cinematic string arrangements are paired
with a deep fast-paced bassline on the DJ Camper-produced
single, providing the soundtrack to an anxiety-ridden long distance
romance. In the accompanying video for the track, Chxrry22 finds herself
worlds away from her every day amidst glistening lakes and vibrant
meadows. The symbolic video self-directed by Chxrry22 herself
alongside creative team NSTY - finds Chxrry22 pacing on her phone,
isolated within a lush countryside, and seemingly unable to take in the
beauty of her surroundings as she finds herself fully consumed by a
long-distance relationship.
