Rising critically acclaimed San Antonio, TX rapper Mike Dimes serves up a new single and music video entitled "OFF THE PORCH" featuring BigXthaPlug & Maxo Kream.
BigXthaPlug and Maxo Kream each lace the production with their own distinct verses representing for different parts of Texas. The video even hops between Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio while each rapper spits their verse .The accompanying visual directed by Dallas film maker Keaton Jones directive finds Mike in his neighborhood surrounded by friends. They shoot dice in an abandoned house, they cruise in a limousine, and wild out on the roof of a parking lot propelled by the energy of "OFF THE PORCH".
It arrives on the heels of "Kiss N Tell" featuring Dro Kenji. Right out of the gate, Complex named it among "The Best New Music This Week", going on to proclaim, "the San Antonio rapper spits, making it clear his focus is on success, and not romance". Brooklyn Vegan applauded it as one of “Our favorite songs of the week" too. Not to mention, it reeled in 1.7 million Spotify streams and 122K YouTube views on the official music video.
It landed in the wake of the fan and critical favorite "Heavy Metal". The latter has already gathered 1.9 million Spotify streams and counting as well as 193K YouTube views on the music video. Right out of the gate, Rolling Stone touted it among “All the Songs You Need to Know This Week", and Brooklyn Vegan proclaimed, "Rising Texas rapper Mike Dimes follows his great 2022 album In Dimes We Trust with this booming new single".
