Emerging Philly rapper D Sturdy has linked up with NYC's Fivio Foreign for his first single of 2023, "Against The World". The single is out now via Stack or Starve Records/Def Jam Recordings and is accompanied by a cinematic visual that takes viewers to D Sturdy's hometown in the Abbotsford Projects in Philly.

The inspiration behind the song comes from a place of mistrust and feeling like one can't trust anyone. However, D Sturdy puts a high-energy twist on it, making it his own. The collaboration between the two East Coast artist is a natural one, as Fivio Foreign has been supporting D Sturdy for a while now, even bringing him out to one of his shows.

 

"Against The World" serves as the first offering from D Sturdy's upcoming project, slated for later this year. The Philly Goats member is continuing to define his artistry and carry the torch for both the emerging Philly scene and the inner-city youth.
