United by their talents and a passion for the realness Abyss Dwellas is an international effort. Rochester, NY spit elite Eto and Jai Black spit conscious street parables over gritty n lush instrumentals courtesy of Australia’s Deepstar The Abyss Dwella. The eleven track effort is out now via all DSP’s now (Divine Matter Records) with vinyl via Tuff Kong Records.

The connection between Deepstar and Eto has been in the works for several years. Starting in 2017 when Deepstar was engineering Eto x Superior’s LP - Long Story Short, they began work on their own full-length as well as features on multiple side projects to come. After hearing Jai Black feature on “Pyrex” from Eto & V Don’s masterpiece Omertà: The Film, Deepstar knew he had to bring the two together for a full project.
In addition to the A-Level wordplay already on display the lyrical firepower includes features from Baltimore hard-rocks Dirt Platoon (Raf Almighty, Snook Da Crook), Rigz of Rochester collective Da Cloth and Brooklyn Dancehall king Jahdan Blakkamoore (famous for his collaborations with Boot Camp Clik and Snoop Dogg). Cuts are also provided by Australia’s DJ Rubix.
