NY's Own, Paris Bryant Drops New Single "Overthinking"

Rising 18-year-old singer/rapper Paris Bryant shares "Overthinking", a new single from the ascendant New Yorker full of frenzied melodies and pleas for romantic resolution. "Overthinking" is available now via Cinematic Music Group/Geffen Records.

Letting loose over mellow keys and insistent percussion, the crooner injects big-money aspirations into reflections on a damaged romance. "You don't tell me nothing, you don't need me", he sings with a fast-paced cadence that matches his racing thoughts, "Overthinking" is as intense as its title suggests. Vivid and emotional, it’s also another sign that Paris Bryant is on his way to big things.

"Overthinking" was preceded by "Ballin", a frenetic tune that saw Paris unloading bars about clubbing, baddies, and chasing paper. The video for the song has now earned over 90,000 YouTube views. Before that, he dropped “Demon Time,” a track with an infectious, melodic hook that insists on being repeated. To date, the accompanying video for the song has been viewed almost 150,000 times. That song’s been praised by HotNewHipHop as being a “fun follow-up for Bryant and yet another example of his ability to make catchy tracks".

Paris made his official debut when he unloaded "Mad Mad" in May, another track full of rapid-fire flows and quotable flexes. The video for that track has quickly garnered close to 50,000 YouTube views, and the song has earned praise from Triller, which spotlighted him as a featured artist. He’s also gotten recognition from REVOLT, HotNewHipHop, RESPECT, and UPROXX who listed the track on their "Best New Hip-Hop This Week" roundup. Soon after that single, he released his second track "Proud of You" which features fellow New York rapper Jay Gwuapo. With dynamic flows and a knack for colorful tangles of melody, Paris Bryant is building a name for himself, and songs like “Overthinking” mean that he’ll only continue to rise.
