Pookie G Bring That Spark to the Music Industry

Pookie
is native of Harvey, Louisiana, and is no stranger to the big stage.
Garland Allen, nicknamed Pookie G, is a newcomer to the rap game who has already had some early success.

His most recent collaborations with well-known artist like Atlanta native Young Scooter, Philadelphia's Leaf Ward and Chicago's Prince Dre are only a taste of what's to come from the Louisiana Native.

His first mixtape, "Hotter Than The Summer," was followed by an opening EP, "I'm Not A Rapper," both of which were released on Apple Music.

Pookie G was influenced by Lil Wayne, a New Orleans native and hip hop legend, when he was growing up in ouisiana.

Pookie says Young Money artist had a big influence on his career and was one of the main reasons he decided to pick up the microphone.

Pookie G is excited to bring that spark to the music industry, and he believes that his honesty and way of life connects with people, allowing him to relate to anyone who is a true hustler and enthusiastic about music.

Pookie G also says that he will be a long-term artist who prioritizes business and devotes his time and energy to his music in the hopes of one day fully supporting his community and family.

It's easy to assume that the Louisiana native possesses the confidence and mindset to be successful and have a long-term impact on the industry.

With the reoccurrence of multiple hurricanes (Hurricane Katrina, 2005 and Hurricane Ida, 2021) Pookie G hopes to relocate to LA where he can gain the exposure he seeks and show the world that he’s not just a “rapper” but an overall entertainer.
