"back n forth" arrives shortly after his label-debut single, "fantasize", which includes a funky bassline and dancefloor-ready guitar – disco hip-hop, hyper-pop bliss. The song garnered recognition from Ones To Watch who praised it as a “breakout moment” and “contender for song of the summer,” UPROXX who included it in their "Best New Pop Music" weekly column, Lyrical Lemonade who praised eric as "one of the biggest gems in the entire industry", and more. The buzzy single also led to a cover of Spotify’s Anti-Pop Playlist. Today “fantasize” has accumulated over 3.3 million streams globally and nearly half a million views.

Earlier this year, ericdoa and fellow genre-blending artist, glaive released their critically acclaimed track, “cloak n dagger.” Right out of the gate, Vulture described it as “a delectable FU,” and Pitchfork named it "The Must-Hear Rap Song of the Day", going on to add, “Collectively, they make a two-sided lovesick anthem that could fit on a playlist right after Future’s "Throw Away". It has already amassed over 4.3 million Spotify streams and counting and north of 661K views. They also shared “fuck this town” which includes a video appearance by Zack Bia. The video currently has nearly 400k views and has received continued praise from NME, Lyrical Lemonade, Paper Magazine and more. Additionally, earlier this week, the guys both made their debut performances at glaive’s release party for his EP, all dogs to heaven. The event was jam-packed with family, friends, and fans who waited hours to get in on the fun.

ericdoa introduced himself with last year’s COA, which Pitchfork hailed as "thrilling". Meanwhile, Lyrical Lemonade claimed, "The 18-year-old Connecticut native has built a reputation as an absolute golden child of this scene in a variety of ways". As he releases new music, he continues to rack up millions of streams and engage a growing audience online. Stay tuned for more from ericdoa coming soon.
