Sammy Warm Hands ft. Casual - "Redefine The Flow" Pt. 2 Video

Eugene, OR artist Sammy Warm Hands has returned with new visuals this morning. Redefine The Flow Pt. 2” is an exercise in rapid bar delivery alongside legendary Oakland, CA emcee Casual (Hieroglyphics) over a beat produced by Warm Hands as well.

The video was filmed social distance style in Eugene and Oakland respectively (with effects by Taylor Morden of Pop Motion Pictures). Speaking on linking up with Casual, Warm Hands related “we did a show together and it led to the first 'Redefine The Flow' back in 2015. The song became such a fan-favorite that we made Part 2 in 2018. We had planned to film the video in 2020 but ended up having to film our parts individually because of COVID and the wildfires. You can sort of see the wildfire smoke in the background in some of the shots.”

“Redefine The Flow Pt. 2” appears on Sammy Warm Hands' Figures Of Speech double-album which is available in limited CD format and digital via Bandcamp (and streaming platforms as well). In addition to Casual, the project features an amazing array of emcees including Gift Of Gab, Supastition, Blueprint, Illogic and Carnage The Executioner and was mostly self-produced.

With a career closing in at over two decades, the artist has also delved into folk and punk and recently added the title of author to his resume. His second book, How To Ruin Your LIfe: The Daily Grind Of A DIY Tour, is a no-flinching tell-all of the decade from Sammy Warm Hands' I Quit My Job For This tour and the 16 subsequent tours, topping 100,000 miles on the road. The book is available for pre-order with print and audio-book formats (via the link below).
