About Cherae Leri
Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, but resides in Atlanta,GA this young vibrant song bird is hitting the music scene hard with her own flavor and style. Cherae Leri is a songwriter, dancer, actress and former model. She began her entertainment career at the age of 3 when she began modeling and acting. Leri has never followed trends, so don’t expect to hear her trying to mimic any. Leri has been influenced by some of the more prominent Artists like Patti Labelle, Leela James and Erykah Badu, whom she met with her mother, a traveling DJ while attending the Tom Joyner Morning Show at the age of 12. Badu encouraged Leri and her Mother to move to the Houston area where she also pursued a modeling career. Although her claim to fame might have been through the modeling world Leri never stopped working on her music. In 2018 she released her Debut EP ‘Conscience’ with her assembled team of musical powerhouses with features from Chino McGregor and Choppa Zoe. Leri tells lyrical accounts of pain, strength, experience, love, triumph and attitude. Bold by nature does not play coy musically. She puts her heart in each track. Conscience allows listeners to peer into Leri’s soul holding nothing back giving the best and the worst of her - clearing her Conscience. With her standout track “Worth That Drama” that’s over 230k plays on Spotify. Cherae started her off 2019 with her first single “Way Back When” featuring Jayson Echo..She recently had a performance in Atlanta during Super Bowl 53 at Power Of Influence Awards : Special Tribute for Jermaine Dupri 25th Anniversary for SoSoDef. Now she is on a 7 city tour for the month of May, hitting the cities like Houston, St. Louis, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Atlanta, Nashville, NYC, and Miami.
