DRAMA RELAX PREMIERES NEW SONG & VIDEO "SPRUNG"

DEBUT PROJECT DUE OUT SOON
Long Island-bred singer/songwriter/producer Drama Relax has shared a seductive new single called “Sprung.” Released via Interscope Records, “Sprung” is accompanied by a gorgeously hazy video directed by Edgar Esteves (Tory Lanez, T-Pain, Lil Baby,Alicia Keys).
Produced by Zen and written by Drama Relax, “Sprung” is a sensuous R&B jam built on a mellowed-out groove and lyrics confessing to total infatuation. Meanwhile, the song’s video combines beautifully sweeping shots of the Hollywood Hills with up-close-and-personal moments that feel as intimate as a home movie.
“In my music I try to paint a picture of what’s going on in my relationships, in a way that’s honest but still feels good, with that laid-back vibe and energy to it,” says Drama Relax.
“Sprung” arrives as the follow-up to Drama Relax’s recent single “Your Love” ft. Tory Lanez & Lil Tjay— a March release praised by HotNewHipHop as “an incredibly smooth offering, showcasing Drama's singing voice and his ability to create catchy melodies.”
Along with his Interscope Records debut single “Private,” both “Sprung” and “Your Love” are set to appear on Drama Relax’s first full-length project, due out from Interscope later this year. In addition to finishing up the project, Drama Relax recently wrapped up a national tour as the support act for Texas-bred singer/songwriter SoMo.

About Drama Relax
Growing up on Long Island, Drama Relax started making music in eighth grade, largely inspired by Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III. After spending his high school years building his beat-making skills and self-releasing a series of mixtapes, he pushed forward with his music by producing and selling beats online. Once he’d amassed a sizable following on YouTube, Drama began sharing his own music and steadily grew a fanbase on SoundCloud. His songs soon drew the attention of Interscope Geffen A&M Executive Vice President Joie Manda, which led to his signing to Interscope in fall 2018.
