Rap artist Maui ARN premieres his new single “Feelings Attached” featuring Dapperdon E.
Hailing from Long Island, New York a place that has produced rap icons like Rakim, Biz Markie, EPMD, Public Enemy, and MF Doom Maui Arn hopes to have his name etched in hip-hop history one day. His new visual, “Feelings Attached” shot by Qasquiat highlights his natural charisma and lyrical aptitude. Above Average Hip-Hop wrote, “Sometimes you just have to make things happen. Every artist’s love for their craft comes from somewhere. For Long Island, New York rapper Maui ARN, he knew he had music in him.”
“I wanted to show the viewers exactly what we were rapping about, so Flee, Showout & I put it together,” says Maui about the visual. “Feelings Attached” captures the essence of mainstream hip-hop culture. However, the fly clothes, fast cars, and faster women do not overshadow Maui’s prowess as a rapper. His suave lyrics are amplified by a guest verse from fellow New York rapper DapperDon E, a member of the Maui Nation rap collective.
Above Average Hip-Hop adds, “Maui plans on making it big in the rap game because he will always stay true to himself.”
“Feelings Attached” will be featured on Maui’s forthcoming EP Don’t Sleep On Me which is set to release later this year. The song has potential to make a greater impact than his track “Boss Sh*t Only” which amassed more than 2,500 streams.
