Grammy Award Winning superstar J Cole will celebrate big this weekend in his hometown of North Carolina kicking off the inaugural Dreamville Festival which has sold out at over 40,000 tickets. The festival which was initially rescheduled from September last year due to Hurricane Florence will welcome music fans, friends of the brand and residents for a day of live performances, live mural, local vendors and more. Dreamville will donate a portion of the proceeds to hurricane relief efforts for the community. Alongside J Cole, the lineup features Dreamville/Interscope artists like J.I.D, Ari Lennox, Bas, EarthGang, hometown act Lute as well as big names like 21 Savage, Big Sean, Teyana Taylor, Young Thug and more. For the full lineup listing and set times please visit: www.dreamvillefestival.com
The festival takes place at the historic 308-acre Dorothea Dix Park and is the first event the park will host since being donated to the public. J Cole alongside his Dreamville team worked closely with local government and Mayor of Raleigh, Nancy McFarlane, to bring Dreamville Festival to light. Dreamville Festival’s ultimate goal is to not only have a positive and substantial economic and cultural impact on the city itself and the surrounding region, but also to become one of the most anticipated annual events in the city — one that is a perfect complement to the existing event landscape and cultural fabric of the City of Raleigh.
For those who missed out on tickets to the festival will be able to stream the show live on TIDAL beginning 12:30PM ET and follow @dreamville on all platforms for behind-the-scenes antics.
