Rising Orlando rapper G-Nine officially announces his signing toCash Money Records. Additionally, he serves up his debut single for the label entitled “10 Percent”today.
 
Within just a few months’ time, the original music video for the song surpassed 18 million YouTube views. The cinematic and snappy production of “10 Percent” resounds beneath inimitable bars from G-Nine. He carries a hypnotic chant with an infectious intensity and laidback confidence that proves impossible to turn away from, and it’s only the beginning.
 
“10 Percent” heralds the impending arrival of his debut project Glokksgiving set to arrive November 30^th 2018.
 
Born and raised in Orlando, he lived with his mom and three brothers as dad shuffled in and out of jail. At the age of nine, he started rapping on Garage Band from his iPod, developing catchy cadences and a knack for rhymes. However, trouble proved inescapable throughout junior high and high school. G-Ninelogged multiple stints behind bars before finally writing his mom a letter from jail announcing that he’s going to “blow up” when he gets out…2018 saw him make good on that promise.
 
Inspired by Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Plies, and Youngboy NBA, he turned up with a sizzling signature style on independent projects such as Loyalty Kill Love and Bloodshells Revenge. As he generated tens of millions of YouTube views and garnered widespread critical acclaim from XXL, No Jumper, Noisey, and more.  Pitchfork named “Front Door” among “The 5 Best New Rap Songs” and The Fader touted “Blatt”on “The 10 Best New Rap Songs Right Now.”
 
In the wake of his rapid rise, G-Nine inked a deal with Cash Money Records and is putting finishing touches on Glokksgiving which will feature the singles “10 Percent” and “Beef.”  The mix-tape will feature production by Murda Beatz (French Montana & Migos), London On The Track (Lil Wayne &Gucci Mane) and Yung Tago (Quavo & NBA YoungBoy).
