Moneybagg Yo - "Bet On Me"

‘BET ON ME’ BY MONEYBAGG YO OUT NOW
TAY KEITH-PRODUCED PROJECT FEATURES LIL BABY, YOUNG THUG & GUNNA

Memphis rapper Moneybagg Yo has released a new project titled Bet On Me. Executive-produced by Tay Keith (Drake, BlocBoy JB), Bet On Me is out now on N-Less Entertainment and distributed by Interscope Records.

Moneybagg Yo speaks on the project: “Working on a project with Tay Keith was long overdue, we came up in the game together since the first Federal tape, our relationship is bigger than music. It’s perfect timing now for the project. The whole theme of ‘Bet On Me’ is taking risks and that life is a gamble.”

Tay Keith speaks on the project: “Me and Bagg started working because we were both buzzing in Memphis before we got on all the way. We made “No Dealings” and created our own song. The theme for this project is #BetOnMe; count on me, but in the meaning of gambling, ‘bet on me’ when you’re shooting dice.”

The nine-track Bet On Me features appearances by Gunna, Lil Baby, and Young Thug. Along with Tay Keith, Moneybagg Yo worked with producers like Javar, Denaro Love, Turbo, DrumGod, and DMacTooBangin.

To celebrate the release of his new project, Moneybagg Yo will be hosting his 'Baggs 2 School Drive' on Sunday, August 5th from 3-7pm, in his Memphis hometown. Sponsored by Bread Gang and N-Less Entertainment, there will be free food, school supplies and a concert featuring Moneybagg Yo and friends.

Bet On Me follows Moneybagg Yo’s 2 Heartless, which arrived in February and features appearances by Yo Gotti, Lil Baby, BlocBoy JB, and Quavo. After the release of the project, The FADER hailed Moneybagg Yo as “rap’s foremost preacher.”

Born Demario White on Memphis’s Southside, Moneybagg Yo signed with Memphis record label N-Less Entertainment and made his debut with Federal in 2015. After delivering his sophomore releaseE.L.O. (Everybody Lives On) and third mixtape All Gas No Brakes, Yo Gotti and Moneybagg Yo released their collaborative mixtape, 2Federal on Halloween 2016. Moneybagg Yo followed this withHeartless in February 2017. Thanks to the breakout success of Heartless (which prompted XXL to name him “one of the hottest rappers to look out for in 2017”), Moneybagg Yo soon partnered with Interscope Records for a distribution deal.

In August 2017, Moneybagg Yo put out Federal 3X, which debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 and gained acclaim from outlets like the New York Times (who noted that Moneybagg Yo “blends the tough and the comic with an intuitive gift for casually robust rhymes”.)

Today, Moneybagg Yo joins Yo Gotti, 8Ball & MJG, and Three 6 Mafia on his hometown’s roster of veteran hip-hop talent. But despite his increasingly massive success, he remains a decidedly independent artist. “I’m still talking that talk," Moneybagg Yo recently told Billboard. “I’m giving fans exactly what they need to hear. It’s just on a bigger scale now. Everything is just on a bigger level.”
