MELII RELEASES VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE “CHARLIE’S LINE” + CELEBRATES
ONE MILLION VIEWS FOR “ICEY” VIDEO
20-year-old Harlem artist, Melii, releases the video for her new single, “Charlie’s Line.” In the Alexandra Gavillet-directed video, Melii hits the streets of her hometown with another release that is “overflowing with flavor and swagger.” (Highsnobiety) Watch the video here. “Charlie’s Line” is the second single from Melii’s forthcoming debut project, Phases, which is set to release this summer. “Charlie’s Line” was produced by Chris Fresh and written entirely by Melii.

“Charlie’s Line” follows the breakout success of Melii’s debut music video for “Icey.” Released in March, the AWGE-directed video for “Icey” just passed one million views and the track was recently added to Spotify’s hit-making playlist, “Most Necessary.” Additionally, the track has been in heavy rotation by New York’s biggest DJs including Ebro, Funk Flex, DJ Enuff, and both Rihanna and Kylie Jenner have played the track in various social media posts. After signing with Interscope in December of 2017 and earning cosigns from the likes of HotNewHipHop, Lyrical Lemonade and The Source, Melii is showing why she “may be the most exciting young artist the city has seen this year.” (DJ Booth)
