G Herbo - "Swervo" Video | @GHerbo

G Herbo revealed the official single, "Swervo" and accompanying video, from his upcoming project, Swervo, today via Machine Entertainment Group/The Orchard. The project is a collaborative effort from G Herbo and ATL-producer and 808-Mafia boss, Southside. On "Swervo," G Herbo lyrically breaks down how far he has come from his 79^th & Essex days and brags about the lifestyle he has created for himself."Swervo" is available for streaming/purchase today. Swervo is slated for release mid-summer.

The JMP-directed video finds Swervo, a.k.a. G Herbo, flexing while donning the latest collections from Givenchy, Versace and more - watch the "Swervo" video below.

"Swervo is a lifestyle, it's my alter ego. It's the other side of 'Humble Beast.'  Southside, who produced the whole album, came up with the name. We would hook up in Atlanta, Miami or LA and just hop in $200K whips, swerv through traffic - really just have fun and enjoy life - then go to the lab and capture that feeling. It's that vibe. I can't get that feeling in Chicago, because Chicago ain't a place you can relax and let your guard down... not even for a second. Don't get me wrong, I still talk that street talk, because that who I am at my core, but on this album I'm still having fun with it at the same time."G Herbo told Complex, on his upcoming project.

On the video, G Herbo said, "The 'Swervo' video is my favorite video to date. The director, JMP, really captured the vibe of the song and the album and we just really brought the Swervo lifestyle to life."

Swervo is G Herbo's braggadocios alter ego. The project explores the duality between the introspection commonly heard in G Herbo's music and the bravado that comes with Swervo.  Southside and G Herbo have extensively worked together in the past, and with Swervo, it is clear that Southside's production perfectly aligns with G Herbo's energy and lyricism.
