Don’t let Ash the Insomniac’s name fool you; he is definitely not one to be slept on. The up and coming rapper hailing from Los Angeles has really made a name for himself by putting his all into his music.

“Real Ones” —the newest release by Ash— is a track like no other. In his lyrics, Ash speaks on the real ones that have held him down out the gate and have never switched up on him:

“This record means a lot to me because I went through some hard times recently and if it wasn’t for my real ones, I wouldn’t be the man I am today. I wouldn’t be as strong as I am today. And I wouldn’t be here today. And I want to dedicate this song to anybody that has been a real one for somebody else. Who’s a ride or die for their friends.”

With a record like “Real Ones,” it’s obvious that Ash deserves the listens he is getting and more. Especially since he's working on multiple projects including an album. But before we get too ahead of ourselves, your focus should be on “Real Ones” and the volumes that this track speaks.
