His name is Young RJ. He's been working production boards for a long time, but is now ready to step into the forefront. He served as Dilla's intern and well as.. cooking up beats for the group. The Detroit native is ready to release his debut solo project, Blaq Royalty, today Oct 10th. The record features Boldy James, Pete Rock, Statik Selektah, and Joyner Lucas to name a few. The album presents a classic "Detroit Slum Sound" hip-hop approach, but still gives us modern and radio friendly joints like "Issues" (which features BJ the Chicago Kid), "Wait" (Pete Rock/Boldy James) and the popular "Motion.." (Joyner Lucas, Statik Selektah, and Earlly Mac).
