Toronto By Way Of London Artist, Gov,
Releases Steamy New Slow Jam With “Physical”
Gov is an exceptional new voice originally from London UK but now based in Toronto Canada. Hitting the scene in 2016 with his debut EP release “Nights”, the project featured artists such as Amir Obe, Keffaleng and Ye Ali who have all been releasing successful records in the last year as well. Premiering the EP via Complex Music, Gov established a genuine sound that fused elements of grime, trap, R&B and hip hop.
Gearing up to releases his second official EP “The Roses” very soon, Gov has been releasing a string of singles over the past few months to build anticipation. With heavy new drops such as “Body On Me” and “California”, Gov has built on the sound he established with “Nights” and “The Roses” will delve more into an R&B feel with a down tempo electro influence in the production. Production is being handled by several producers, with the majority of the tracks done by RDY and Vino.
“Physical” is the latest release off of “The Roses” and is an intimate slow jam for those late nights. Produced by Vino, the airy bounce of the record stands out right away as Gov opens up with smooth melodies. Speaking to that special woman, Gov is letting her know that it’s time to get Physical. The new single is now available on all streaming services.
“The Roses” EP will be available on all stream services very soon and will be accompanied by a short film with the EP as the soundtrack. Be on the look out for new music and videos coming soon!
