About Lil Monzie:

Hudgins, better known as "Lil Monzie", was born November 7th 1988.
Growing up on the south side of town he began to take interests in music
at a early age of 10. From freestyling with classmates to writing and
recording with friends, Lil Monzie developed a unique style of rapping.
In result of that he captured a solid fan base amongst family and
friends.
At
the age 23, Lil Monzie released his first official mixtape naming the
project, "Cash On Deck The Mixtape." Unfortunately, he encountered
another tragic loss the same week he released his project. Losing
momentum and focus on his potential career. Lil Monzie let the next two
years past, hardly writing any music.
In
October of 2014 he encountered yet another devastating loss.
Friend/label mate Derrick "Lil Rabb"Thomas was shot and killed. With
encouraging words from family and friends, Lil Monzie began working on
his sophomore project titled "Young OG". In which he dedicated the
mixtape to his fellow label mate Lil Rabb.
In
2015 Lil Monzie released "Young OG The Mixtape". In 2015/16 he released
a hand full of music video's which reflected his mixtape. He also kept a
steady flow of show performances within his city. Opening up for
industry artists such as Atlanta's own Young Dro and Big Kuntry King.
In
December of 2016 Lil Monzie became business partners with
brother/manager Antonio "Mike" Willis. Currently the two are working
towards pushing Lil Monzie's music worldwide. Starting with his latest
project titled, "CheckMate The Mixtape" which is expected to be released
March 2017.
