Compounding the talents of in-house creative director Bronze, a triple-threat rapper, designer, and producer whose credits include records for Brandy, Estelle, and Dido; with rappers' rappers, Roshin and Arowbe; and former World DMC Champion DJ Dopey — Notes to Self BBRC is formed.
Talent recognize talent. Notes to Self works with the likes of Rittz, Alchemist, Fashawn, De La Soul's Maseo, Dilated Peoples, and the late Sean Price. Their previous two albums A Shot in the Dark and Target Market were respectively released by trusted gatekeepers, bbe and Decon.
BBRC has big plans for the near future. 3 mixtapes, 2 EPs, 1 LP, along with a line of New Era fitted caps and car club jackets can be expected in the next 12 months. A recent song, "Sliced Bread" is currently in regular rotation on commercial radio in Australia. Tour dates to be announced and their EP, “The Peach Pit Sessions” drops Oct 20.
