After successfully making it out of the 5th poorest city in the United States, Goldsboro, North Carolina, to attend college, Dwayne Applewhite's music career begins when he decides to leave college to pursue his dreams in Hollywood, California.

Although destined for greatness, Applewhite spent most of his time battling his own demons and getting to know his self, vulnerabilities, and fears while perfecting his flow, delivery, and production.
