Armed with a production from Streets & Trickey (Los Angeles), backed by a band of oblongs and animated by over five-thousand flash images - Mr MacDonald delivers a performance fit for a stadium show. With lines like “I’ll go back a generation up their family, cut it off at the roots, watch them fall like leaves” and the brutally confident chorus “I ‘aint into making friends, all the time that I spend by myself gonna pay off/ I hope you don’t take offence, if you mad about it then y’all should fuck way off” Tom’s message is beyond loud and clear - on his journey to the top, you’re either against him or against him.
