South London trio Noise Galleri are back with a bang for their new single “You Get Me” featuring rapper and fellow south Londoner Yungen. The track brings together an array of different sounds, such as electronic, trap, dubstep and rap, to form what can only be described as a high-octane, explosive club stomper.
“You Get Me” was written and produced by Noise Galleri and follows last year’s “Spin Me High”, which gained support from major UK radio stations Kiss FM, Capital Xtra and Radio 1. Speaking on the new track, the band say: “It's about the crazy feelings and emotions you get when you first meet someone and you can't get them out of your head. We were trying to convey the notion of being into someone so much that they become your whole world. The aim was to create as much hype and energy as possible in the music to match the intense feelings we describe in the lyrics.”
Writing and producing their own music and even playing some of their own instruments, band members Ana Santos (vocals) and brothers Greg Haley (programming, guitar) and Raf Haley (programming, drums) all come from musical backgrounds, which include studying at the acclaimed BRIT School where they were able to nurture their talent and also focus on the technical side of music, such as engineering. Since graduating and forming Noise Galleri five years ago, they’ve had their fingers in all pies, with Greg even making various TV appearances as a session guitarist for Chris Brown and Rihanna, as well as co-writing songs for the likes of Jessie J and Roll Deep with his brother Raf.
“You Get Me” will be released digitally June 27th via independent label Ovation Records, a new subsidiary of Tribe Records.
