About Mac
Mac is a former University of Minnesota All Big-Ten basketball player (Lawrence Mckenzie). He was born and raised on the Northside of Minneapolis. He went to Patrick Henry High school where he won 4 straight basketball championships. He was named one of the top 20 Minnesota basketball players on all time by the Pioneer Press (http://www.twincities.com/sports/ci_20209511/minnesota-boys-basketball-top-100-20-best-players) Although basketball dominated most of his public life through college, music has always been his passion. After a career ending injury in 2009 Mac decided to make music his full-time love. Within a short time Mac has had many musical accomplishments. He is quickly becoming THE name for Hip Hop in Minneapolis.
