ABOUT PETEY PYRAMID:
Hailing from Kansas City, Missouri, the Midwest bred Petey Pyramid started young. He began honing his pen at the tender age of 8yrs old and composing music at 16yrs old. His first taste of the "life", as a part of the rap group Dry Bonez Live, was all young Petey needed to stamp his arrival into entertainment.
In 2013 Petey moved to Philadelphia to focus on education and music. While earning two bachelors degrees, he was able to land major placements production wise with artists such as Tye Tribbet, Da T.R.U.T.H., and Grammy awarding winning Christian sensation Lecrae.
Mr. Pyramid later moved to Atlanta where he teamed up with mega producer KE on the Track and began working on his EP "The Let Out". These efforts caught the attention on many A&Rs and producers, one of them being Lil Ronnie (R Kelly, Britney Spears, TI, Usher, Mary J Blidge, 2 Chains and more). Petey has also been seen gracing the same stages with Hip Hop heavy weights such as Future, Lil Boosie, Rico Love, Young Dro, and more. We can look forward to a long brilliant career from Petey Pyramid.
"The Let Out" mixtape features Petey Pyramid over an amazing line up of tracks created by himself as well as some of the best producers in the game including K.E. on the Track (Future, Nicki Minaj, DJ Khaled), SM Tracks (T.I., Rich Homie Quan, K Camp), Diego Ave (Rico Love, Kevin Gates, Rick Ross), Jack Danz, S’pply & Demand,Kansas City’s own LoveStoned, 1 Bounce, and Jo Blaq (Justin Bieber, Jill Scott, Ariana Grande). TLO also has special guest appearances from Cali native UTK (Universe The King), Yung Versace, The Popper, Young Boss, and Gee Watts.
