Born in Sierra Leone, Ifeanyi moved to the United States at a young age, where he attended private school, and was surrounded by a rich upper middle class. It was during this time that Ify’s personal style and mindset began to evolve into more of a “classic” style of dress and a money motivated attitude.
During the midst of legal issues, Ify decided to use music as a creative outlet and source of income during a time when he was uncertain of his future. Ify decided to get in the studio and make music as a way to provide for his family in case things did not work in his favor.
After allowing friend and fellow rapper "Jay IDK" the opportunity to listen his music, Ify was connected to industry mogul Greg Baker who had previously helped the rapper receive his distribution deal. Baker was known as a reputable source of success in the music industry and is responsible for launching the careers of a number of up and coming artist giving them the platform that they need to be prosperous.
The DC based rapper has made a splash with his new single "Pledge", as this new single is starting to make it's rounds on the DMV airways.
