GreenMeanGo: The movement consist of PostRain,Strokes Tagaluchi & Levi CenterStage . Together we represent a relentless group of talented young brothers. "GreenMeanGo" equals no red Lighting, nothing can stop us. We have set a standard of breaking down barriers.
Hip Hop On Deck: Where do you guys fit into the Hip Hop market of today?
GreenMeanGo: We are coming with that #NewNewYork sound added with the versatility Of being able to deliver music that fans can dance to. Our music is vivid in the sense that listeners can ultimately see the vision painted through our words.
HipHopOnDeck: Sonically how do you define the brand ?
GreenMeanGo: Our brand has various layers. We are complex but yet solid. GreenMeanGo AKA FashionGang. We are involved in many facets of the entertainment industry from music, video, fashion, dance, production and more. We are dedicate to building our community. We work with the youth, providing studio time, and internships.
Hip Hop On Deck: Each member what do they bring to the Table that fuels to the brand as a whole ?
GreenMeanGo: Our wordplay is different from artist to artist which makes coming together pretty intereesting. We have dealt with the same struggles but we express it differently. We joke around that we are a 3-headed Monster. Levi gives you that new fly society, turn Up 4 da ladies type of Rap. Then you have Strokes, he's rugged. His approach is reminiscent of 90s era rap. Me PostRain touches more on what is relevant in the world today. Levi and Strokes are also hands on with the FashionGang StreetTeam venture, as well as the merchandising that we are spearheading. Post focuses on the music and business on that end.
Hip Hop On Deck: How did U come together ?
GreenMeanGo: We grew up together. Playin ball in the center only place cops didn't mess with you. We made a name for ourselves traveling and doing our thing on the basketball court. Our passion for music was always there, so we eventually came together and bought the equipment we needed and have not looked back since.
Hip Hop On Deck: You have released a project today correct ?
GreenMeanGo: Yes we have released B.O.NFire AKA #BarsOvaNames . You Can Definitely Expect Bars! (laughs) There's some good music on there. We feel like we hit every mark from the club to the streets and the conscience.
Hip Hop On Deck: Any features ?
GreenMeanGo Yes but most of it is just us. We wanted to keep it in house and introduce ourselves. We did collaborate with Hot Boy Jews and MTM Entertainment as well. King Varsity he also did the Artwork on the inside cover and Dirt Reynolds blessed us with the front cover art. Our home girl Mulan Marie is on the project along with Soso Cardigeny talkin. Free him. Lastly my guy Haze.
Hip Hop On Deck: What do you feel will allow this project to stand out?
GreenMeanGo: The Authenticity. This is what we consider New NewYork; a fresh sound. The lyrics are clever, and the beats are on a dope level thanks to our in house producer PakDaKid
