Brooklyn-bred
rap group, Gloss Gang, release a highly anticipated visual for "Flexin'
On Bitches," from their previously released project, Money. Brower. Respect.
2015 was a huge year for Gloss Gang. They opened for rap veterans, Fame School, as well as for the Brooklyn band, Phony Ppl, at SOB’s in Manhattan and for Wiki of Ratking at Aviv in Brooklyn. In addition to performing, their music gained the attention of music industry tastemakers, such as Combat Jack, the former managing editor of The Source, as well as Virgil Abloh, the brains behind the designer label Off-White, Kanye West’s creative director and frequent global-trotting DJ.
Gloss Gang is Swook and 700Stacksz from Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Earlier this year, Swook's lung collapsed forcing a three week long hospital rest. Despite the set back, the duo is back stronger than ever and are gearing up to release some new exclusives.
About Gloss Gang
Brooklyn-bred rap duo, Gloss Gang, drops video for “Flexin’ On Bitches.” This is a video from their previously released project, Money. Brower. Respect.
The impetus to form Gloss Gang was like any typical street crew. Stacksz and Swook, two childhood friends, lived in the same Crown Heights neighborhood in Brooklyn, where they shared the same park and school. Formed after realizing that they shared the same ethos in creating music and living life, Gloss Gang went on to release tracks and videos that were supported by tastemaking blogs, including Miss Info and Mishka who praise "[Gloss Gang] have hit the ground running and their debut EP is a prime example of that hustle.”

While they experienced a slight setback when Swook’s lung collapsed in early November, this did not stifle their creativity. Stay tuned for lots more from Gloss Gang!
